Coach Tammy Aitken

Tammy knows how to coach a crowd. After all, she’s a busy Mum of 3 footy-mad kids. When she’s not down the oval wrangling the local footy kids or challenging herself on long runs followed by cold water immersion, she’s working to become the best CrossFit coach she can be.

Her first encounter with CrossFit was hearing her hubby (also a member at CFME), talking about his daily wods. Clearly, it takes a lot to impress Tammy, as she didn’t consider checking it out herself until she accidentally stumbled on the Games documentaries on Netflix. She was so inspired by the athletes; “their strength and determination and the variety of challenges that they were able to complete”, that she decided she had to give CrossFit a go. It wasn't long before she was hooked.

As a Coach, Tammy loves “motivating people, finding out what makes them tick, seeing them make progress in different movements, and sharing the excitement when they accomplish something that they’ve been working towards”.
